Dear Friend of the Vision:

I cannot believe that two years have come and gone since we reopened the doors to this great institution my Grandfather birthed over 80 years ago! As you know, Christ Temple Church of Pittsburgh is a vibrant, inner-city ministry dedicated to the holistic approach toward meeting the needs of the families we serve in the Homewood and Lincoln-Lemington communities.

The edifice at 7037 Mt. Vernon Street is a beacon of hope in the community and a light to those who are experiencing darkness in their lives.  By the grace of God and the help of those committed to the ministry, we have completed significant repairs to make the church sanctuary and offices usable-renovated the interior of the sanctuary, upgraded the lighting, and installed a furnace!  We are very grateful for the support of so many of you who have supported us to this point. Thank you!

Building Homes

At this juncture, our roof, which was in need of replacement prior to being given oversight of the ministry, is the next necessary project.  We are very fortunate to have been approved to receive a grant to renovate the roof. This is a matching grant which means we must raise the cost of the renovation which is more than $20,000.

This is where you can help! Your generous donation of $100.00, or whatever the Lord lays on your heart, will help to bring this monumental task to fruition!  Once the roof is repaired, we can begin to prepare to offer much-needed programs and services for families and youth in Homewood.

You may give via cash app @ $CTCOFPGH, via google pay, CTCOFPGH@gmail.com or simply mail your donation in the self-addressed envelope provided for your convenience. Please indicate UPON THIS ROCK or ROOF PROJECT in the notes section to apply your gift properly.

I cannot thank you enough partnering with us throughout this journey and for helping us go to the next level. I can be reached at 412-592-1597 if you have any questions, or if you want more information.

May God richly bless you and your family.

In gratitude,

Pastor Marvin A. Rawlings, Sr.
Senior Pastor
